Please respect NBL Canada's Fan Forum and everyone involved with it. What that means to you is simple, don’t abuse the site. If you wouldn't say something to someone's face, don't say it here.

With the real-time nature of this forum, it is impossible for us to review all forum posts, comments, blogs, photos, videos, etc. prior to them being posted. Therefore, a certain level of trust is involved with NBL Canada's Fan Forum and we trust that you will be responsible. Please don’t let us down!

Here are some simple guidelines that we ask you to follow in order to ensure that NBL Canada's Fan Forum runs smoothly.

Everyone has a right express their unpopular points of view; however, we ask that everyone will not use this community to post any material which is:

- Strong, vulgar, obscene or otherwise harmful
- Knowingly false, defamatory, slanderous, or libelous
- Racially, ethnically, sexually oriented or otherwise, objectionable
- Harassing, intimidating, stalking or threatening other community members
- Impersonating another person or persons
- Invasion of another’s privacy
- Promoting, distributing, or transmitting illegal content

DO NOT SPAM

Like you, we despise spam. Please don’t repeatedly post the same or similar content or post any identical message more than one time or in more than one forum. We also ask that you don’t post pointless or repetitive messages only to boost post count and earn points.

HARRASSMENT

Please DO NOT post messages that are deliberately hostile and insulting, usually in the social context of a discussion board on the Internet. Remember, it's all about respect.

MODERATORS

Don’t create posts discussing moderator actions. The community is controlled by us… the Admins. We do, however, have many fan moderators that assist us. These fan moderators are not paid and do this during their own free time. So needless to say, cut them some slack. If you have an issue with how we moderate, tell us what we’re doing wrong by sending an email to nblcanadafanforum@gmail.com.

SHARING

Please don’t post third-party content that contains strong, vulgar, obscene or otherwise harmful language. This includes posting videos or links to other sites that may contain this type of content.

FILTER

Please don’t attempt to avoid our profanity filters by posting alternate spellings or variations of words with symbols / characters.

REMEMBER

Always remember that, although we cannot review the content posted prior to going live, we do actively monitor the contents of what is posted. We are however, not responsible for any of the content posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of NBL Canada's Fan Forum or any entity associated with the National Basketball League of Canada. Any user who feels that content is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by clicking the “Report Abuse” link or by emailing nblcanadafanforum@gmail.com. We have the ability to remove objectionable content and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.

If we do catch you in violation of these guidelines, we reserve the right to delete, move, or edit any content for any reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for your content, and you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s). We reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.
