CFL East Final/Jazz Home Opener.

Has anyone else noticed that the Jazz have their home opener against the Lightning at 6:00 this Sunday, and the Als host Toronto in the CFL East Final at 1:00? This could be HUGE for the Jazz, as the Als are sure to draw over 60,000 and the Centre Pierre Charbonneau is literally across the parking lot from Olympic Stadium...I would expect to see a lot of football fans grab a bite to eat after the Als beat down Toronto to advance to the Grey Cup , then check out some great NBL action. This Sunday might truly be the NBL's lucky day and will allow the Jazz to start off in a big way in Montreal. Let's just hope the Jazz are promoting the game to the Als fans...

They would be crazy not to promote it heavily in the area. But there is no way the Als are going to beat down my Argos. Its more likely that this is a nice way for Als fans to console themselves with another couple of beers and some basketball action to help them forget their grief.

Given that the Als lost today, it looks like a pretty solid crowd at the Jazz game! And the Jazz are up on London right now, 24-21 at the end of the 1st quarter!
