NBLC FANZINE Empty NBLC FANZINE

Post by Cansportswriting Sat Sep 01, 2012 6:47 pm

I'm a huge fan of the fanzine - the unofficial voice of supporters in UK football. In the good ol' days you would circle the stadium to find a fanzine vendor - slip him a pound or two and suddenly you would become the caretaker of great information from cover to cover.

Given the insights on this forum would it not be something special to create a NBLC Fanzine. As print media is in a state of decline could we not start an e-fanzine. I'm not html savvy (to design and maintain a site) but I certainly would love to throw my two cents into writing and providing images.

Any thoughts on such a venture. This league needs to promote its personalities. Why not take the bull by the horn as a collective group of NBLC die hards?

Cheers
Paul

Dear ZerOcoOL. Good to hear from you. The idea of a Fanzine hasn't broken my inbox with replies BUT lets keep an eye open. How do you think Laval will welcome the Kebs? If a young man named Courtland Bluford enters their training camp - let me know. he is a really great young man from Maryland and the type of player fans will cheer.

I think the welcome will be good!! But I think we have to do some promotion to help because the media don't talk enough about the club..

I will let you know if I saw Bluford at the camp..

If you want to do something to help the NBLC, let me know and I will help you
