Impressive Start to the 2012 / 2013 Campaign

The recent players combine and draft is a good indication that the league is still committed to doing things with the best organizational skills possible. It didn't have the same pop as the first combine but it did the trick. The optics have been good even though the combine may not fill rosters.

Caught some of the draft and its always intersting to see who teams will try and build there franchies around. I do have one small complaint is that after the draft was finalized there was no press release giving a bit of background info on each player. Nothing fancy but just your basics. School, weight, hight, maybe a a quick two or 3 line summary highlighting any career highlights or maybe particular skill set (ie tenacious rebounder, perimeter threat). Just the more info we have on players the more likely fans can get invested in them. Just some food for thought.
